Need a gift for a loving horse?

All the horses at Santa Anita are wearing YANKEE'S CLOWN HATS .........so they MUST be pretty popular.

You caught me Steve.....(insert roaring laughter here!!!)

This is my secret treehouse to get away from you-know-who on the you-know-what forum.

Grab the rope & climb on up.

Shhhhh.........Mums the word.

S. Perry says:
Definitely NOT a copy of The Godfather.

Don't worry...I won't rat you out. But you should find a way to quitely spread the word...for the greater good.
Oy!

Need a gift for a LOVELY horse?

Tail & Mane.......it's shampoo & conditioner for horses but people use it too.

I saw it at the grocery store.
You could high-tail it out to the stable & lather up with your good buddy.

S. Perry says:
Wow, that last one was a little steamy.

Maybe Mr. Ed can do a heavy metal album like Pat Boone did.

Cassansdra: Sorry if we kind of annexed your thread. We're hiding out from the cooking forum. You may call this a maven haven.
Seriously...good luck with the book.

Yeah, yeah, thats good......I like that! GET THE BOXED SET!

Including.... "Mr Ed Raps Old School".........LOL SNORT ...this is TOO MUCH FUN!

Sorry? SORRY!!!!!! Are you kiddin'?
We're keeping her post right up there at the top of the "gift" charts!

Didn't you see how grateful "Verna" was over on ....'sports loving child'?

Steve, you bring out the best in me........do you think that in another life we sat in the back row in high school & joked around during class????

S. Perry says:
Oh so it was you chuckin' spitballs in history class...only I got blamed for it.

We may end up with detention if we're not careful.

Haven't poked around the gift forum too much, but it's nice to find a breather space. The veggie discussion is starting to heat up a bit. I used to spend quite a bit of time in the music forum (my other addiction besides food), but there are some seriously opinionated people over there. One guy actually trolled me over my 12" Emerilware pan. He though reviewing a pan was the most rediculous thing he had ever seen in his life.
I bet he eats a lot of Mcdonalds.

Ah well...don't snicker too loud or we may get sent down to the principals office.

I realize now that I am a "rank outsider" in this group. I think I might vote for any of the Mr. Ed series.

GW (Gina) says:
SP,
Yeah, sorry you got blamed.
And, coward that I am, I sat there & said nothin'.

But you took it like a man & I admire you for that. I owe you one.

Hey, I don't usually read the long-winded posts (Ipicked up A.D.D. somwhere along the road of life) .....but I DO believe the veggie-mites are pummeling you-know-who.

With all those 'rude international guests' over for dinner, do you think she could be the U.N. Ambassador?

NO, WAIT, WAIT, WAIT!!!!
I KNOW who you-know-who IS!
She's our current Secretary of STATE!

Just look at the evidence:
Open-minded?...........CHECK!
Gracious?.................CHECK!
Tactful?...................CHECK!
Vast experience? (or at least HALF-vASSED).....CHECK!

(Slap my wrist for getting political. Sorry if you're a h.c. kinda guy. I can't afford to offend my ONLY friend in Etherland.
I really DO like strong, opinionated, domineering women.......my mother is one.)

Oh yeah....Cassie's O.P.
LOVELY gift for a LONELY HORSE???
A pony.

S. Perry says:
GW: Taking the blame isn't always a bad thing. Actually it's how I met one of my best friends. In junior high history class someone was screwing around or something and well the teacher thought it was me. When he called me up to his desk I was a bit befuddled as I was just sitting there spacing out. He pointed to a seat in the front and said "Sit down or get the hell out" so I sat down. Eventually I started chatting with the guy behind me and 20 years later I've still got myself a kindred spirit. Only he eventually found his was out to the west coast after several other stops.

Cass: THANK YOU For pitching in with a couple of goofballs like us. As a fellow writer I can understand the urge to get stuff out there and hope to hear you on NPR or somewhere soon being interviewed.

And in regards to the Mr. Ed metal album. I just got a call from Arnold the Pig's agent and he wants to do a duet with big Ed. I'm thinking Black Sabbath's War Pigs might just be perfect.

And finally, about you-know-who...it was only a matter of time before the common rabble united against the mighty maven. I'll make some popcorn, you pick out some wine...this just might be fun.

Oooooohhhh there's something twistedly heartwarming about pickforks and torches.

What gives? Why would amazon delete her???
