Do you want to know if GMOs are in your food?

Well, we're depending on you, California!

Do the right thing and demand that GMOs get labelled!

Looks like most of CA didn't want to invest a little bit for the future of our food.
It wouldn't have cost much from the outset, but those bogus Taxpayer Watchdogs are very experienced at scaring gullible votes.
Not to mention all the money that went into the industry's disinformation propaganda campaign.
Half of my family doesn't even know what GMOs are, or how they could potentially be a problem.

Easier to watch an ad on TV and be scared than to read actual literature on the subject an educate oneself. Democracy is always at the mercy of how information is made available, how easy the access is. When voters are encouraged to be lazy and react only emotionally to problems, nothing good ever gets accomplished.

I voted yes on Prop 37. I was on the board of a consumer food coop from 1981 through 1992. We were having trouble during that time with GMO's and it has gotten far worse since then. It is very sad how poorly informed people are.
