Can a vegan diet prevent and/or reverse erectile dysfunction (ED)?

Several books I have read lately, inlcuding Diary of a Dieting Madhouse: The Diet, claim that a vegan diet prevents ED. I wonder if anyone has any direct experience in this area (or knows someone).

I think the title answers your question. The theory is madness.

If going vegan prevented ED, men would stop eating bacon.

I rest my case.

kuta -

There is an easy fix for that I learned as a young man. Go someplace and masturbate prior to your time of intimacy. Too bad women don't have to endure the same problem. The world would be much simpler if it were so.

I'm not so sure. Being vegan takes a TON of discipline. I shun meat and know that I should be vegan, but it is so challenging, and can feel alienating.

Oh you confuse my comment, sex is a race. Also women have enough problems to deal with and I would say a quick man or a limp one would equally be one of their problems if they were bedding him. Ha.

Oh well, guess that's why God invented dildos. Yeah I'm pretty sure it was him.

Yes, it does. But as far as I know, you have no member that would be affected.

Don't agree. Cigarettes cause lung cancer and people still smoke.

I am about 90% vegan and don't stress over it.

Actually, eating a vegan diet has little to do with it.

You want to eat a Plant Based Diet.

Kinda the same thing, except on a vegan diet, you can still eat things like potato chips & drink soda.

What you want to do is get the fat out of your diet - ED is usually linked to a blockage of the veins... you want to get rid of all that plague that is blocking up your veins in that area (well, any area, but you asked specifically...).

Eating tasteless food takes discipline. I think that was the point. Fatty greasy bacony foods keep the mouth happy.

I know that you were kinda joking, but I am just curious - eating that way, do you feel good - I mean, are you energetic & healthy?

I some that feel good eating that & others that are tired all the time, so I was just wondering. =)

I eat bacon sometimes and I feel great. And sausage, ham, chicken, beef, dairy and so on.

I do feel sluggish after over eating sugar & low fiber carbs (like pancakes). So I don't do it often.

Cool!

I agree sugar & low fiber carbs are not good. =)
