J. Kinsell says:
Due to lack of a timely reading of my Medtronics pacemaker, the battery quit on 9/15/2012. Upon learning of the failure, my (new) cardiologist scheduled me for the device replacement 5 days after he found the battery powered down (11-22-2012). I was told that essential tasks were still being performed, (I have a-fib) but I really don't know for sure. Anyone else ever experienced this? Any adverse effects? I tire easily, but that could be from the Lucentis shots I get periodically injected into my left eye to fight "wet" macular degeneration. I am 73 and male.
