Hey everyone, I would just like to bring some attention to my hip-hop group. I asked Beatjunkie82 from Youtube to upload a couple of our songs. Luckily, he did, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. I would encourage you to check out his channel and even visit our Facebook page: facebook.com/OfficialVG and please spread the word! Thank you!

Not bad bro ... Not bad at all.

Definitely love the jazzy hip hop beat. Keep working on the craft and getting more relaxed on the mic. Seems like you were a tad bit unsure at times when getting the words out and you sort of drifted away from the mic towards the end of the song (1:58) and it didn't sound like it was fading out or anything, but it's definitely worthy of being released publicly. Glad u posted it.

Named after a pair of pliers, huh? Vise-Grip is a registered trademark, but ViceGrip shouldn't be a problem. Heh.

I checked out "Fluxuate". I like it. Good beat, good lyrics. What more can I say? One thing I can recommend is to try to avoid fade-outs altogether. When I hear a fade-out, it says to me, this musician didn't put enough effort into ending their song. Don't be afraid to get creative with your song's endings!

Hey guys, thanks a lot for the feedback and suggestions! Just for your info, the tracks we have on YouTube are kind of our rough cuts... We just recorded it for fun and stuff.

Yeah, ViceGrip, because we hope to have a "lock on real hip-hop"!! It you could, just refer others (your friends, other hip-hop fans, etc.) to our YT videos or our Facebook page, we would really appreciate it very much. We need all the criticism/praise we can get! Thanks!!

I listened to the other 2 tracks you had on there ... I could feel the roughness, but they were good as well.

Yeah don't fade out ... Either cut the track off clean or let the beat play out a lil more and then cut it.

@Srp

We're nice because the OP didn't pretend he was somebody else. He didn't spam the forum, or do anything like that. He asked for feedback, and he got it. What's wrong with checking out artists who ask us for feedback in a non asinine way?

Evil lynn, you can be a tad sensitive sometimes you know, nothing wrong with it but i'm almost sure SRP was only trying to be funny if anything.

AS for the music, ok, not bad. Laid back music, the beats are a little "empty" if you know what i mean, not my kind of thing but you got skills.

I checked out a few tracks on that channel. You got some good stuff on there.

I'm not being sensitive about it, I just see nothing wrong with checking out new artists. This forum can get down right terrible when a new artist shows up to promote their stuff. I've done so myself.

And yes, I'm sure SRP was trying to be funny. I've never been one to get sarcasm or passive aggressiveness anyway be it online or in person.
I prefer to be more direct if anything...
