I'm definitely NOT the type to buy a Christmas album, but I'm thinking about getting this one because Cee-lo can saang and I think he'd definitely put some stank on these songs. The cover is horrible, but aside from that, any thoughts?

I'm actually a bit of a sucker for Christmas albums. My wife loves Cee-lo (but hates my penchant for putting on Christmas tunes around that time of the season), so this album might save the day!

Is that a joke or a real album? Looks like some old Suave House stuff

I think the album is for real. And yes, it does bring back the images of old southern albums.

Yeah I guess this is a real album. Some of the reviews on it are funny...

-------->Lets be honest what can be harder than a guy that rolls with a crew of grizzly bears that drink and smoke cigars. The guy looks so stoned on the album cover it's hard to tell if he's even conscious. The bears are sporting some sort of smoking jacket, appear to be very relaxed. This would be a good album for someone who likes barney, but would rather see barney smoking marijuana and drinking a forty-ounce.

He has four bears smoking blunts and wearing jewelry while drinking cristal in front of a table filled with cigars, strawberries, assorted nuts, and fresh fish. Oh, and his name is in HONEY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. Just in case you thought he was going light on the bear theme. The name of the album is baffling. "Doin Thangs" is such a broad description. What is he doing? THANGS. No time for apostrophes, Big Bear is on the move. I'm just relieved that he didn't forget to put a high number of lens flares onto the cover. Without it he might have lost the hook necessary to alert people that he is, in fact, doin thangs.

That's like parodying Spaceballs. Doin Thangs' artwork has to be at least a little bit satirical. It... c'mon, it just HAS to be. If that's the case, how does one parody a parody? By metamorphosing comedic silliness into overtly stoic soap opera material so deadpan it makes Guiding Light look like Dumb & Dumber? Hmm. That'd actually be quite brilliant.
