[Jeff Marzano says: . . .. It warms my heart to hear a fellow-earth-traveler who understands the importance of words.]

Well unfortunately for me I let too many stupid words escape from my mouth over the years that I cannot get back.

By some miracle I was able to get a job at IBM and almost immediately let stupid talk screw things up in the workplace. I came very close to losing my job on various occasions. That didn't happen but my years there went in the wrong direction I would say.

At times I was like a spoiled child who would throw temper tantrums if they didn't get what they want. Unfortunately in a place like that they don't send you to your room. They send you out the door.

Racial hatred. Cursing God. Telling family members I more or less hated them. Just being generally mean and unfriendly. I've said it all.

I guess it's possible that someone might be laying on their death bed and suddenly remember a time when they said something mean and destroyed a relationship before it even got started. They might wonder what would have happened if they hadn't said that and realize it's much too late now.

People who hate others based on race and who speak and act on that hate will experience the wrath of the demons as I almost did. Their wrath isn't something people like to experience. People in those hate groups like neo Nazis are making the most serious of mistakes. The demons almost did something to me that would have made me wish I had never been born.

Apparently Satan cannot ignore certain types of words or even thoughts that are directed towards him such as curses for example. He must respond. This is like a law in the universe. That's what makes Satan the most dangerous and deadly being in the universe.

I have read also that during the mysterious Egyptian initiation rites the initiation candidates would have to provide secret and sacred words to the mysterious beings that reside inside of the pyramids. When those initiators heard the secret words they would open secret doors inside the pyramids and allow the initiates to enter.

There are people who have a gift and mastery with using language. For me Rod Serling and Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn come to mind.

Words. Use them with caution.

By the way, my horse is insulted by your epithet.

I had to look up the word mensh before answering. I wasn't sure what you were calling me.

Yes that's right. I don't know what the psychological term is for someone like that but I have seen other people like that on TV shows. I told him to do an internet search on a lady by the name of Diana Dial who was featured on the TV show Most Evil with Dr. Michael Stone. Dial was another one who felt that sinister forces in the government as well as ex Nazis were following her and trying to take her out. So she executed a preemptive strike and shot and killed her landlord.

Then there's the case of William Cooper and his crackpot book Behold A Pale Horse. Cooper went AWOL from the army after watching the Zapruder film of the Kennedy assassination which he said clearly shows that the limousine driver shot JFK with a pistol.

Cooper died in a shootout with sheriff's deputies, undoubtedly believing they were agents of the New World Order who had come to arrest him and take him to a secret concentration camp. I think Cooper managed to kill at least one police officer during the shootout.

Cooper must have said 100 times in his book that the true patriots should never be at home on holidays like Christmas since that was the most likely time that the NWO guys would show up.

There's a lot of people who feel that same way to various degrees. One of their heroes is a guy by the name of Alex Jones. A lot of those people seem to be about one step away from trying to overthrow the American government.

Cooper had a radio program that was very popular with Timothy McVey. McVey went to the lethal injection room with a look of defiance and malice on his face. He had no regrets which is sad considering he probably didn't even understand why he threw his life away and killed a lot of people. Those people get lost in a delusional world and lose touch with reality.

That guy you are talking about doesn't have anything on this Brad From Miami guy. I don't know if you've seen anything he says.

I've had my share of mental distress. Unlike those guys however for me there really was something there in the dark. That also happens sometimes.

William Cooper made offensive remarks about the founder of the Satanic Church Of Set in his book. For all we know that guy may be Set himself. Cooper's car was forced off the road twice by a mysterious black limousine and in one of those accidents Cooper lost a leg.

I've heard it said that some people in mental asylums are possessed by demons. I wouldn't doubt it.

Some people may think that if they become possessed they can just call their local exorcist who will say a few prayers and fix everything. That may not be the case. They may go off the deep end and remain insane for the rest of their lives.

That book is by Manly P. Hall. He was well informed about the myths and legends of the ancient past although I don't always agree with what he says.

In some cases he tries to reveal the secret knowledge as best he can. In others he talks about cases where secret knowledge may have existed in the past without knowing what exactly those secrets are.

The book provides a good overview of the origins of various philosophies.

[A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back.]

What you said reminds me of an Irish proverb that I wish I had heard and understood about 30 years ago:

"Everyone is wise until he speaks."

That's why if someone wanted to join Pythagoras' philosophy school they were required to not talk at all for 2 years. That's how much value Pythagoras placed on thinking before talking.

Loose and foolish talk has destroyed people.

This is especially true of criminals who often cannot keep their mouth shut about what they have done. I wonder sometimes if they do this because subconsciously they want to pay the penalty for their misdeeds in this world rather than face the wrath of God.

In the Italian mafia when someone becomes a made man they take a vow of omerta (silence).

I suspect most people have said things they wish they could take back.

Words. They have destroyed nations.

God's Simple Plan of Salvation

My Friend: I am asking you the most important question of life. Your joy or your sorrow for all eternity depends upon your answer. The question is: Are you saved? It is not a question of how good you are, nor if you are a church member, but are you saved? Are you sure you will go to Heaven when you die?

God says in order to go to Heaven, you must be born again. In John 3:7, Jesus said to Nicodemus, "Ye must be born again."

In the Bible God gives us the plan of how to be born again which means to be saved. His plan is simple! You can be saved today. How?

First, my friend, you must realize you are a sinner. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

Because you are a sinner, you are condemned to death. "For the wages [payment] of sin is death" (Romans 6:23). This includes eternal separation from God in Hell.

" . . . it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" (Hebrews 9:27).

But God loved you so much He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, to bear your sin and die in your place. " . . . He hath made Him [Jesus, Who knew no sin] to be sin for us . . . that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him" (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Jesus had to shed His blood and die. "For the life of the flesh is in the blood" (Lev. 17:11). " . . . without shedding of blood is no remission [pardon]" (Hebrews 9:22).

" . . . God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

Although we cannot understand how, God said my sins and your sins were laid upon Jesus and He died in our place. He became our substitute. It is true. God cannot lie.

My friend, "God . . . commandeth all men everywhere to repent" (Acts 17:30). This repentance is a change of mind that agrees with God that one is a sinner, and also agrees with what Jesus did for us on the Cross.

In Acts 16:30-31, the Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas: " . . . `Sirs, what must I do to be saved?' And they said, `Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved . . . .' "

Simply believe on Him as the one who bore your sin, died in your place, was buried, and whom God resurrected. His resurrection powerfully assures that the believer can claim everlasting life when Jesus is received as Savior.

"But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name" (John 1:12).

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13).

Whosoever includes you. Shall be saved means not maybe, nor can, but shall be saved.

Surely, you realize you are a sinner. Right now, wherever you are, repenting, lift your heart to God in prayer.

In Luke 18:13, the sinner prayed: "God be merciful to me a sinner." Just pray: "Oh God, I know I am a sinner. I believe Jesus was my substitute when He died on the Cross. I believe His shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection were for me. I now receive Him as my Savior. I thank You for the forgiveness of my sins, the gift of salvation and everlasting life, because of Your merciful grace. Amen."

Just take God at His word and claim His salvation by faith. Believe, and you will be saved. No church, no lodge, no good works can save you. Remember, God does the saving. All of it!

God's simple plan of salvation is: You are a sinner. Therefore, unless you believe on Jesus Who died in your place, you will spend eternity in Hell. If you believe on Him as your crucified, buried, and risen Savior, you receive forgiveness for all of your sins and His gift of eternal salvation by faith.

You say, "Surely, it cannot be that simple." Yes, that simple! It is scriptural. It is God's plan. My friend, believe on Jesus and receive Him as Savior today.

If His plan is not perfectly clear, read this tract over and over, without laying it down, until you understand it. Your soul is worth more than all the world.

"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?" (Mark 8:36).

Be sure you are saved. If you lose your soul, you miss Heaven and lose all. Please! Let God save you this very moment.

God's power will save you, keep you saved, and enable you to live a victorious Christian life. "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it" (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Do not trust your feelings. They change. Stand on God's promises. They never change. After you are saved, there are three things to practice daily for spiritual growth:

*Pray -- you talk to God.
*Read your Bible -- God talks to you.
*Witness -- you talk for God.

You should be baptized in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ as a public testimony of your salvation, and then unite with a Bible-believing church without delay. "Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord . . . ." (2 Timothy 1:8)

"Whosoever therefore shall confess [testify of] Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 10:32).

Me: You've already stated that "the messiah has arrived",

Borich: Yes. When he decides to start the rest of his job is another matter.

Me: and that something ominous will happen in about 11 days.

Borich: Not ominous, but interesting. But it's not something that will be observable. It's what some Christians call the rapture

Not only are these "predictions" about the end of the world interesting, it's also interesting what happens to the people after their predictions turn out to be false.

Domenico Rosa says:

[All the people of a small town are crowded in a small church on the evening of 31 December 999 or 1000.]

There was a guy by the name of William Miller who predicted that the so called Rapture would happen in 1843 or 1844 based on his interpretation of the Book Of Daniel. He gave some specific dates which came and went without the end of the world happening. So he apparently just kept pushing the date out, all the while selling his followers robes that he himself manufactured. Some people sold all they owned and stood there with Miller out in the field waiting for the Rapture. The next day they were all broke and destitute probably but Miller just kept producing more of his Rapture robes for the next time.

A more recent false prophet was Elizabeth Clare Prophet (should be spelled 'profit'). She convinced her weak minded followers to create a massive complex of underground bunkers on a ranch in Montana because Christ and Saint Germain told her that the Soviet Union was going to launch a nuclear attack on the United States in 1989. The bunker complex was built at a cost of $ 25 million plus 2 years of labor for 200 people. They stockpiled food and a massive arsenal of high powered weapons. People sold everything they had, went into massive debt, cashed in their 401K plans, etc..

The people who emerged from that bunker on the 'day after' were very disillusioned and I guess disappointed that the world was still here. Elizabeth's cult never really recovered from this disappointment.

False prophets make predictions and set dates to galvanize support for their movement. And that's how they get into trouble as far as their credibility.

The book The Late Great Planet Earth by false prophet Hal Lindsey gave a specific date for the second coming of Christ. The book was very popular until the day after that date.

What's amazing is some people continue to belong to these cults even to this very day.

William Miller's followers created what I guess is now the 7th Day Adventists.

Elizabeth Prophet's Church Universal Triumphant still exists. The current president denies that Elizabeth ever made the prediction about the nuke attack even though this was captured on video. She says 'nobody was harmed' by building the bunker.

Hal Lindsey still has a following I think. I've seen him on TV recently saying things like the number 666 is going to be appended to everyone's social security number.

Hitler did the same thing in a way in Germany with his prediction that the Third Reich would last for 1,000 years.

Suetonius says:

[It was the one where you said you were a Dec. 21 believer.]

I can say I believe in the idea that a new age is beginning.

I personally believe that something very dramatic is going to happen at some time in the not too distant future. This may be something that we today could not even have imagined. It could be something that is outside of our current level of knowledge, understanding, and thought processes.

As far as specific dates I don't claim to known when.

The Mayans apparently said that 9 gods will descend to our world tonight. But what exactly that may mean or imply I don't know. They have their Pyramid Of Kukulkan where the shadow of the stairs creates the body of a writhing serpent on the two equinoxes every year. They felt this represents Kukukan descending to Earth and then returning to the stars.

I found out awhile ago that Zeus and those others are very real. Stories like Homer's Iliad are not fictional. They are historical realities and that includes the involvement of the gods and goddesses in the affairs of mortals.

Many of my ideas about the future are based on the book 'UFO Contact From Planet Iarga'. That book I believe contains information provided by people from another planet.

They talk about the idea that there's 144,000 people in the world at this time who have been set aside to execute God's plan. But there's 144,000 on the dark side also. This matches up with the Book Of Revelation in the bible.

That book answers questions that philosophers have wondered about for thousands of years. But those topics will lead into discussions about religion and philosophy more than history.
