Susanna says:
Really? And what might those personal, ancedotal variety stories have to say about camp conditions and treatment of prisoners? In which camps exactly did those personal, ancedotal variety stories occur?

I would hope so, since you regularly defend him.

While you are bizarrely trying to divert the topic, tell me to what sites in particular are you referring?

Bob is posting news reports from these alleged hate sites; have you found any of them to be false?

My mom was in one of those camps, and most of my relatives died in them.

I'll leave it at that. Though my mom's impression of the Americans, and than Russians taking over the camps was only slightly better.

Bob used to post from the Gellar site more frequently, he's cut back a bit.

>Bob is posting news reports from these alleged hate sites; have you found
>any of them to be false?

Yes. At least in the sense it didn't involve muslims. That part was an assumption made by Bob.

Bob also has a tendency to show only the worst not the better parts (not mind you that the news reports the better parts. From their viewpoint good news is bad news).

P.S. I remember a scene from one movie where a news photographer was asked why he shot the bad stuff (I believe he was photographing a dead kid), and his answer was that the bad stuff would (let's say) earn him $50000, the good stuff paid nothing.

In the case of the Americans, they wouldn't share the food they threw out each day.

In the case of the Russians, well, they were like you :)

Susanna says:
Sorry, that last sentence is a little unclear.

Do you mean the Americans or the Russians liberated the camp she was in?

Don't you know its name?

bb says:
Sure, shaman-boy, I believe you. Sounds like the Russians were pretty good!

Say what?? Where were the Americans throwing out food?

I'm not going to get an answer, am I?

Could it be remotely, humanly possible that he doesn't know the name of the camp his mother was in?

No, but I think it was probably Kamp Frootenloopenz.

The Americans first, who than handed it to the Russians.

No I don't know the name.

Yes. It was something my mother wasn't into discussion much, and I wasn't into asking for more than she cared to tell.

Do you know where it wasor what country it was in? Dachau maybe? Don't you want to know?

Americans liberated the Buchenwald concentration camp near Weimar, Germany. They also liberated Dora-Mittelbau, Flossenburg, Dachau, and Mauthausen (Austria, and I think it was turned over to the Russians. I'll try to find out.)

Disagree. Source that outlandish claim.

Most survivors were unable to talk about their experiences, especially to their children. It usually has devastating effects on the rest of their lives, as well as the lives of their families.

There is a huge push to get the stories from the last remaing survivors. Humanity needs them.
