If you're interested, there is a book called "The Vanished Kingdom." About the Rise of Prussia. The other claims that Germany offered to purchase Kaliningrad from the Russians, but I've heard this brought up nowhere else, so I consider it unlikely. Germany's only claim to the lands was that Germans inhabited them. All Germans east of the Oder-Neisse Line, and the ones in Bohemia, have been expelled. Germany therefore has no more solid claim to the land, unless in the future it takes the claim of force, i.e. actually occupying the areas in question with military forces, which only holds good until you're defeated.
As for Gibraltar, I doubt it will be Spanish anytime soon. As someone has mentioned, the people of Gibraltar have consistently voted against being united with Spain, similiar to the situation in Northern Ireland. I imagine this to be simply a person who wishes the map conformed more to logic, which I indeed sympathise with. One cannot simply hand over millions of people to nations they have no desire to be part of just to tidy up some rough edges on the political map of the World.
