Must be a typical Obama supporter. The really hard core ones get a tingle up their leg when he commands them.

R. Miller says:
Mohamed F. El-Hewie writes "In contrast to Israel's narrow dream of living in peace on the land seized from the Palestinians , the Islamists' dream is to spread Islamic justice and teachings, translate and interpret the Quran to all languages and educate the people in all places on earth with the Qutranic wisdom, body of laws and virtues. " I have a question - a few days ago there was a story in the news about a rape victim in Afghanistan who was imprisoned - for having been raped. Now, I understand that the Islamic world is not uniform and Afghanistan has different history and cultural considerations, but can you explain to me if imprisoning a rape victim is in accordance with the Quran? Also, lest you misunderstand my question - I am not an Islamophobe or Fundamentalist Christian extremist etc. I purchased a copy of the Quran 25 years ago because I like to study all religions, religious thought and philosophy. I only want to understand. Also, in case you misunderstand me, I find one of the most nauseating things about our current leader is that he has not withdrawn 100% of our troops from Afghanistan. I also suspect our troops are in Afghanistan for the same reason they were in Vietnam - to make some people rich. Barton Paul Levenson - when I saw this posting I was upset - you beat me to an idea I had in my head for quite a while "Eye on Israel Part 257" There have been too many of those threads IMHO.

Mohamed: <What exactly have happened to all the intellectual Jews who could have saved the fanatic ones from leading their brothers and sisters to inevitable destruction?>

anne: Weren't they killed in an attempt of genocide by German people?

Actually, it was an attempt by the German Government/Leader/Fuhrer...When the "German People" became aware of what was actually happening, most were horrified at what was happening, but turned a blind eye to it, either out of denial, or simply too afraid of defying the Reich.

anne says:
Robert: the whole reason we went to Afghanistan was to "Get" Bin Laden. Well, he's supposedly dead now, so doesn't that mean we can stop the waste of American resources

anne: Yes, I hear the U.S. is 'pulling out' of Afghanistan. Now they're off to the Orient to save the day!
