Back in the early 70's there was a song out that was song by a male, and it went something like this "Christmas at home, oh how I would love to spend this Christmas at home". Does anyon have any ideas on the name of the song and/or where I could purchase it?

J. Martin says:
You may be thinking of "Stop the Cavalry" by Jona Lewie, English artist. There is a line in that song that says:

"...wish I was at home for Christmas" with lines about being a soldier during the war. Great song.

There was no mention of war during the song though. This was on a christmas album that when you opened the record holder there was a pop up of a Christmas scene. The record album was called "Christmas Present". Gene Autry was on it doing Rudolph, and other famous singers.
