What kind of keyboard should a person that has never played one get. I'm looking for something that will have features that will help me learn. I have just started learning how to read music and I want to play a keyboard, but I have no knowledge of them at all. I'm looking for something that doesn't cost a lot, but will allow me to play some power metal songs when I get to that point skill wise. probably around 200-300$.

also should I buy a book for practices and finger placement? I already have a book from MI on how to read rhythms.
I know this is in the wrong section, but no body post in the keyboard forums.
