D. Sippel says:
Nothing against Mr. Lewis, I can acknowledge his contribution to the Horror genre, but I can see several others I would induct ahead of him. Robert Bloch, Ira Levin, even Roger Corman I would vote ahead of H.G. Lewis. Just my opinion, of course. Maybe the H.G. Lewis fans can share a bit about why Mr. Lewis should be inducted in the current class?

Also, How about Thomas Harris? He wrote "Red Dragon" and "Silence of the Lambs." We wouldn't have Hannibal Lecter without him.

I would second Thomas Harris being added to the list.

Welcome mahogany - I did nominate Joe R. Lansdale a few pages back, so you have effectively seconded him! I offered up Pete Walker for Mr. Lansdale to replace, so unless the Pete Walker defenders swoop in to offer their support within the next 24 hours, Joe R. Lansdale will be added to the nominee list replacing Pete Walker.

D. Sippel says:
We also have a nomination and second for Thomas Harris. You need to offer up a current nominee with zero votes for Mr. Harris to replace. If no one defends that zero vote getter within 24 hours, then Harris is on the nominee list.

With regards the nomination of Thomas Harris, I suggest removing Joe Dante from the list. The man may have given us Gremlins, but Small Soldiers and Looney Tunes : Back in Action will forever scar his resume.

Well all right! While voting has slowed down as strategies fall into line, not one, but two new nominees will be on the list starting today!

Joe R. Lansdale will replace Pete Walker

and

Thomas Harris will replace Joe Dante
