Welcome! We like to read and discuss horror books. Please feel free to join us-the more the scarier!
At the bottom of this post are the books we are considering reading for our group.

Our current read is: The Vampire Club
Our discussion will take place THIS FRIDAY! (This is a short one!)

Our last read was: The Children's Hour - A Novel of Horror (Vampires, Supernatural, Thriller).
The discussion date was on Tuesday 5.29.12.
We read: The Haunted
The discussion date was on Monday, May 21st.
We read: Tamed and we started our discussion about it on Monday, May 14th.
We read: 11/22/63.
We discussed it starting on 5.7.12. (This book is an exception to our below $5.00 rule and also an exception to our horror rule!)
We read: Speed Dating with the Dead
and we just finished our discussion.
We read-Crude Sunlight from April 16-23 and we finished the discussion.
We read-Forsaken - A Novel of Art, Evil, and Insanity from April 10-April 16.
We read -The Lion, the Lamb, the Hunted: A Psychological Thriller from April 4-April 9 and discussed Arpil 9-12.

Authors are welcome too, but no self promotion, PLEASE

We are keeping the books we choose under the $5.00 mark, so as to be affordable for most people.

I am reading From Hell. It is quite unlike anything I've read before. Thing is, it's really long.
I am also reading Dark Doorways: The Best of Post Mortem Press 2012 which is an ss collection. It's ok, so far.

What about you?

Stephen King for me too. Followed closely by Peter Straub and Robert McCammon. I also am developing a love for Jeff Strand.

insanity! I know! I have been clicking on it to be made available for Kindle for about a year now. : (
That book is probably my favorite horror story of all time.

MommaCat, I loved that book! It was one of the first ones I got when I got my Kindle.
