TN says:
<<WHY are the Non-Muslims treated as inferiors in all Islamic/Muslim majority lands?>>

Because Muslims interface with others via violent power. They have been killing each other more than killing non-Muslims. I bet they kill or stone their females more than non-Muslims.

They're a bunch of dormant killer-robots, ready to "defend" their Mahomet against imaginary offenses. That's quite unique brainwashing.

Tim might have had his throat sliced. Because he was a non-Muslim teaching Islam?

Before I forget.... Tim was complaining about Muslims trying to remove him from his University position.....
BECAUSE he was not a Muslim. :))))

He didn't post here since... :((

Domenico says:
Just that he failed to explain the obvious....

-- WHY are the Non-Muslims treated as inferiors in all Islamic/Muslim majority lands? In the streets AND officially...
-- WHY was the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights REJECTED by the Muslims ?
-- WHY are the Muslims STILL follow primitive scholars and their bigoted ideas for humanity?
-- WHY are the women STILL tormented under primitive, bigoted, sexist Islamic law? In private AND officially...
-- WHY wasn't the Death Penalty for Apostasy eliminated ??
-- WHY are the critics of Islam STILL persecuted, killed, terrorized, forcefull silenced, insulted - as in forums :)
-- ETC...

Well.... no answers ???

good summary!

\\Afnan, posters here are fanatic anti-Muslims. Their knowledge of Islam, of US history and society, of world history consists entirely of things they've picked up at hate sites. For some of them, their fanaticism is Christian Dominionist. For others, it's just old-fashioned US exceptionalism with text-book Orientalism and racism. TN, Domenico, Birutegal, Seahawk number among these indoctrinated sad souls who promote violence just as they commit violence against historiography and critical thinking. These are men who would sign up to serve in Guantanamo Bay. They will be telling you in a moment about what "Islam really is", and you won't recognise a word of it. \\

TN says:
"Verily, though mankind and the jinn should assemble to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof though they were helpers one of another."

That is very easily, and has been, debunked. See Youtube's Act17Apologetics or something like that.

I wrote two books. I doubt "mankind and the jinn should assemble to produce the like of them", just like I doubt any writer would write something like "Harry Potter"

Rasheed says:
Muhammed (pbuh) did not claim to have produced ANY miracles himself (neither did Jesus pbuh, or any other prophet). The one and only claim was that the Quran, itself, is a miracle.
From the Quran (017.088) "Say: Verily, though mankind and the jinn should assemble to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof though they were helpers one of another."

What did you say Tim?

Are you trying to tell me what I am?
No, my friend, none of what you say is accurate. I'm all for secularism. I admire Jesus because I can see the good in his teachings - whoever he was.

You think it's a coincidence that all muslim-majority countries discriminate against non-muslims? Officially? A coincidence that what muslims do today all over the world mirrors exactly what happened at the beginning of islam?

All humans are vicious. Look at the destruction of the environment. A religion should make humans better not incite them to murder. Some religions are way better than others. The great majority of people complain and fight against muslims and islam. Multiculturism fails only in the case of muslims and islam - universally. Islam have this BIG problem - it MUST dominate. It must destroy others. Why do you look the other way?

Don't tell crap about me. That's one wrong on your part. I don't do that to you.

You can't help repeating yourself, can you TN. The Iranian penal code in 2010 is not Islam. Look at Turkey, Tajikistan and Indonesia and make the same argument. You can't, but you pretend that this year in Tehran is 1400 years of "Islam". Read a book written by someone who doesn't share and fan your hatreds for a change.

Typical taqyyah from an Islamic apologist.

We're against Islam's doctrine of supremacism and segregationism, and last but not least, barbarism.
Iran is STILL amputating fingers of thieves, who may have been very hungry at the time of thieving act. Now how those thieves are going to make a living to survive? It's most likely they'll have to steal again!

Stupidity on top of stupidity, due to blind obedience to a wicked gang leader cum chief-thief cum pedophile.

afnan, I've been debating about Islam for 6 years. It takes a few hours to read the Koran. Maybe a day if every word is to be read. I'm a speed reader, ten seconds a page for my business and technical papers.

My God what a heinous thing to say - that reading the Quran makes you "vomit". How uncouth. Does it make you happy to say such vile things about a religious texts. What is mazing is that you hate it even though you haven't read it. Just curious - what passages were you reading? Maybe it would make you vomit even more to learn that many passages of the Quran have parallel verses in the Bible and Torah. This is a matter of scholarship not hearsay.

["In the OP, I made provision for the possibility of dispute re. the bible. Can you read that at all?
I'm just interested in any recorded miracle in the Quran, independently of whether it is a holy book or not. "]

Your entire argument hinges on your opening sentence. If it didn't you wouldn't have included it along with the second paragraph.

The whole point of your OP was to use the bible as validation of your fairy tale being superior to their fairy tale.

I'm just interested in any recorded miracle in the Quran, independently of whether it is a holy book or not.

I mentioned the possibility that Mohammad's sexual power could be considered as miraculous. Mohammad could have claimed some wars he won were with Allah's help. I want to know the specifics of those miracles.

["OP is about the Quran. If you want to debate about the bible, there're other threads for that. Furthermore, the issue is about the existence of miracles and prophecies in those books, and not about their falsehood or truthfulness. "]

Then you shouldn't have included such a farcical collection of myths in your OP.

You use the bible to validate your religion and your OP.

If the bible is a lie, what does that say about the things you're saying?

["There're many miraculous events in the bible, both OT and NT. And about 400 prophecies, most of them fulfilled, as recorded in the bible and in secular history books. Now many would dispute that statement but the threads on biblical miracles and prophecies address those subjects."]

Yeah, anyone with even a semblance of common sense would state the 'miracles' are all ludicrous.

Talking donkeys? False. Talking burning bushes? False. Dead people coming back to life? False. Global floods? False. Men being made from dust? False.

The manipulation of Muslim masses is simply unbelieveble ! Speachless indeed ....

Remember the Baby Skin Miracle from Russia?? What a farce !!! How dumb can people be?

---------------------------------------------------------------------
http://www.faithfreedom.org/one/russian-miracle-baby-or-skin-disease/

this miracle happens to be a skin disease called Dermatographic urticaria (also known as dermographism, dermatographism or "skin writing") is a skin disorder seen in 4-5% of the population and is one of the most common types of urticaria, in which the skin becomes raised and inflamed when stroked or rubbed with a dull object.

See what educated people have to say about these "miracles"
See how simple and common sense reasoning explain the "miracles"
See how easy is to be a victim of clever manipulators.
If you have access to the internet there is NO EXCUSE to stay stupid !

I had a Muslim colleague, a PhD, who told me that there're miracles in Islam. I haven't read the Quran back then. I did some lately but not entirely as it makes me vomit.

So any miracles in the Quran or by Mohammad and his successors?
