Spartacus says:
Only one track per post! (this is not a competition and besides, that piano player from sheboygan you used to date couldn't possibly have turned out 14, 851 perfect pieces, without a single flawed note, even if he was a distant nephew, 17 times removed, of Mozart, like he persistently claimed (duh!).

For each track, include leader's name - album title - year released - track number - track name (and whatever additional information is needed for a useful citation).

Praise is unnecessary (nor is the seven page story about how the two of you got drunk together and danced naked on the bar until you were arrested, that Saturday night in Fresno): Fantastic says it all!

Remember, people may think you an idiot if you keep your mouth shut, but that's better than delivering a rant that proves it.

The following is an example of what a post on this thread should look like:

Freddie Hubbard - Night of the Cookers, Live At Club La Marchal Vol. 1 - 01 Pensativa (Clare Fischer) 23:30 (Rudy Van Gelder 24bit mastering) Recorded April 9 & 10 1965; Original release date: July 13, 2004 (Blue Note 94323) Freddie Hubbard, trumpet; Lee Morgan, trumpet; James Spaulding, alto & flute; Harold Mabern, Jr., piano; Larry Ridley, bass; Pete LaRoca, drums and Big Black, congas.

Gil Evans Orchestra - Into the Hot - 06 Mixed 10:13 ( Impulse) 1961

NB This track, as were two others, actually was composed by Cecil Taylor and performed by the Cecil Taylor Unit (this track featured Taylor, piano; Jimmy Lyons, alto; Archie Shepp, tenor; Henry Grimes, bass; Sunny Murray, drums; Ted Curson, trumpet and Roswell Rudd, trombone). The Cecil Taylor recordings from this album were also released on Taylor's album Mixed in 1998 along with tracks by Roswell Rudd's sextet.
