Star Date - January 2010 "There once was a time when Romance Books - Harlequin and others, took a long time for the Woman to get over herself and over the man to finally kiss and admit that they love each other. Now of course by the end of the book, they were in love and Yada! Yada! Sure!! Pissed me off that it took so Da** long to get to the point.

Well, Ms. Brenda Jackson has turned that table upside and right side up with steamy love scenes, handsome and beautiful people with real issues, even issues of today, and real concerns about their future. She leaves you hanging, "what in the romance world is next, Vampires?" It's a good hanging, you want more and more and more, hey, it's all good and gooey.

I'm working on a blog for the Kindle on Books by African Americans. Not just fiction, but others. Romance with a little bit of gooey, murder mysteries with a little bit of "Got Yah!! And more. Why not, we cover everything else in this world, why not cover us with a little bit more o me involved. You don't know me, but I can make you laugh, plug your interest and get you to finally buy that Kindle. It's worth every single "note"."

Star date August 2011 - I wrote that note in January 2010 and it has been the best and I mean the best year and a half of my life. My blog, African American Books on the Kindle Blog, has grown to the highest I ever thought it would. You, the authors, writers, readers, and some very intelligent people around the world, have given me a chance to show you I can and will push like a drug dealer selling crack on the corner, fly, drive or take a slow Greyhound bus to book fairs, libaries, and book conferences to sell your books and buy books for myself and friends. It's has been an honor, pleasure to take your work and give it to the masses. Man, I am more than blessed. It's on baby!!! It's on!!! and I'm not stopping now. Not until I get over 1,000 subscriptions and even more!!! Thank You for your support!!!

Hello Valinda. I am a happy Kindle owner as well who happens to be African American. I loved to read and at one point was reading my Kindle everyday. i mostly have been reading the classics and a few of Zane's novels, however, I am new to the blog thing and would love to see some interesting blogs created for and from our prospective. When will your blog be available? Is it available now?

Just wanted to know when will the blog become available? I am a 26 year old African American Woman who loves her Kindle. I do feel like there is a void where the blogs are concerned,I am subscribed to a few of them but none of them really have anything African American related so your blog will be right on time and I will definatley subscribe to you.
