Hey, ever wished you could spam like other authors do? Well now's your chance! Yes YOU can spam like a REAL LIFE AUTHOR!

Okay, here's how it works:

1.) Find a book
2.) Think of a funny plot that has nothing to do with the actual book, but that will make the title the punchline.
3.) Write your post, just like a REAL LIFE AUTHOR, and then link the book title.
4.) Now here's the important part. Don't just leave the book title all sitting there out in the open. Make us work for it by changing the link words to another word like this:

Example:

Insert a product link:

SPAM Classic, 12-Ounce Cans (Pack of 6 )

In the post you're working on, the link will look like this:

[[ ASIN:BOO1EQ5NHE SPAM CLASSIC, 12-Ounce Cans (Pack of 6) ]]

Now highlight everything after the ASIN which would be SPAM Classic, 12-Ounce Cans (Pack of 6) and type something else over it.

So it looks like this:

[[ ASIN:BOO1EQ5NHE Like this ]]

and turns into this:

Like this

Careful NOT TO TYPE OVER the ]] brackets at the end.

Okay, here's my SPAM:

I just wrote a book about the real-life champion tug-o-war player who tragically died during an exhibition match with a circus elephant.

I think you should all read this true story!

BOOM! You be spammin!

I think that your post is ridiculous. No author would EVER do anything like that. I read about Hannibal Lechter and even that author didn't do that!

HA HA HA HA! SWEET!! I am SO in this one.

I just wrote a book about that techno music guy (you know, he went to the Southside a while back with Gwen Stefani) and his x-rated adventures.

Check it here.

I'm really into mysteries and thrillers, but when Amazon recommended this, I thought, "Why not try a political thriller for once?"

Did you ever wonder what would happen if you met the man of your dreams?

I not only wondered about it, but also wrote about our meeting. We got off to a bit of a rocky start, mind you. He thought himself far above me and my family. Then helped destroy the happiness of my beloved sister.

Yet there was something about him. Something about us that could not be denied.

Fix yourself a cup of tea and relax in a comfortable chair. I know that you will enjoy reading the book that I've written.

This was how our romance began...

This book explores the strange affliction of 'downvoting'. This fascinating exploration of the form and function of the DVF will open you eyes to the twisted world of these devious, yet compelling creatures. Portrait of the DVF

The sequel to Portrait of the DVF is now available. This next tome explores the emergence of trollism, from the very inception of the behaviour change that turns your average misery guts into a fully fledged troll. The troll in the mirror
