I got another awesome thread idea. Make a flash story (limit 1,000 words) out of one of these 3 songs. The music sounds better when you listen to it through headphones:

The songs are called Morrowind: Nerevar Rising, Oblivion: Reign of the Septims and Skyrim: Sons of Skyrim (Song of the Dragonborn). I look forward to reading your stories! You can choose one or all of the songs. Please enter which song you used in your story name. And please, no self promotion.

Don't you have anything better to do?

You're the troll from my space dragon suggestion thread. Don't YOU, sir, have anything better to do on here than to comment with such useless words? Back to the subject!

OK, so in order to participate in this "fun" idea we have to link to youtube to listen to songs that no-one has ever heard of and we don't even know whether you can dance to them.

Here's my suggestion - make a story from these 3 songs.

Stealers Wheel - Stuck in the middle with you
Loudon Wainright - Dead skunk in the middle of the road
Johnny Cash - Ring of Fire

I'll chose the Loudon Wainright song.

Story commences:

Last night, I ran over my ex.

(Twice, she bounced a bit the first time.)

The End.

You were in a relationship with a skunk? OK.

Brick Laiden started to regain consciousness. He didn't know why he'd come here tonight. He had the feeling that something wasn't right. All of a sudden he was aware of something stinking to high heaven. He puked and looked around. Judging by the broken white lines on the asphalt he felt against his cheek he was in the middle of the road. There was a clown to the left of him, a joker to the right. Both of them held a dead skunk by the tail. The clown spoke: "I know that love is a burning thing. But you burned the wrong woman when you left my mother at the altar, stuck in the middle of that church without you. Now me and my brother are going to shove these dead skunks where the flames go higher." It was so hard for Brick to keep a smile of his face. And it burned, burned, burned. The ring of fire. The ring of fire.

Regrettably, I was.

Thing is, she looked human for ages.

Maybe she was a were-skunk?

That would explain so much.

I think you should write about it.

But I just did!

Who could write something for Stuck in the Middle With You better than Tarantino did in Reservoir Dogs? I will never hear that song without thinking about crazy Mr. Blonde dancing around and slicing someone's ear off. Never.
