If you hook it up to a computer you will see two sets of files containing the same description. delete them both next time you turn on the kindle they will have been deleted. You must delete both files.

Yes, certainly one of the greatest. Have you read Frank's fantastic biographies?

Is it possible to improve the format of this forum so that replies to posts appear alongside the original posts and not at the top or bottom of the forum? It would make topics far easier to follow.

If the poster clicks "reply to this post," then it's easy to follow the replies. Just click the blue link in "In reply to an earlier post" and you will see the post that's being replied to.

If you'd like to suggest that the forums use a threaded format for each individual thread, you can do that in the "Amazon Discussions Feedback" forum. You can find a link to it at the bottom of the page.

What can I do about my Kindle "Touch" jumping pages as I read a book. Sometimes two or three pages and sometimes many more. When I first read books on it I thought that they were abridged. I would go through them so fast. I now have to really be attentive to what I am reading and catch the jumps. Has anyone else had this problem, and can anyone help me to set it straight?

I have deleted books from my Kindle "Touch". Just go to settings and you will find the delete button

William,
Not that you can't post here, but my advice for a 'technical' question is you might be better off posting in the main Kindle forum. This thread doesn't have a lot of visibility/traffic - you can usually get quicker help over there. Just a suggestion.

Here's a link to the Kindle Help Forum. Yes, it's hard to find, but there are quite knowledgeable people there who are waiting to answer any and all questions about your Kindle.

After self-publishing I've noticed that the formatting process to the Kindle book reformats the word document paragraph designs, in my novel's case erasing paragraph indents... which is fine, but... I've also noticed the formatting is inconsistent. Has anyone else noticed this? Does anyone know of how it can be rectified?

You might find an answer in the KDP forum. This is a forum for discussing Kindle books, not publishing.

Please don't promote in this forum. This is meant as a forum to discuss books, not sell them. There's a lovely forum for you linked at the bottom on this page: Meet Our Authors.

Ralph, don't self-promote. It's rude and against the TOS and annoying.

It couldn't take off fast enough to suit me. This is the third thread you've spammed. I wouldn't read the book, now, if you gave it to me.
