You may want to make a copy of those, print copy. At sometime you will need to make at least one Wi-Fi connection so the Kindle will show second page of settings and other items. Some place like a Starbucks has free Wi-Fi hotspots.
If you are registering your Kindle from the device itself, you will need a Wireless connection. If you don't have a WiFi connection but your Kindle connects through 3G, you can try to manage the registration directly from the device:
On E-Ink devices: On your Kindle, go to the Settings screen and select the "Deregister" link.
On Kindle Fire: On your Kindle Fire, tap the "Quick Settings" icon then tap "More" from the Settings menu, tap on "My Account," and then tap "Deregister."
Now When you connect your Kindle to the computer, it will become a Hard Drive, you will not be able to get internet connection through the USB. In order to register your Kindle using a computer you must visit Manage Your Kindle at http://www.amazon.com/manageyourkindle.
