Kindle Fire, Full Color 7" Multi-touch Display, Wi-Fi

I was able to save a pdf from the internet on to the Kindle Fire. I can see a file folder through adobe acrobat reader called HDCard/download, but I can't access it any other way. How can I delete content that is saved in that folder?

I just saved a pdf from an email. It's supposed to be in the download directory. Where the F is the download directory. This should be much, much simpler.

yukonleft says:
Hit the "Web" tab to go to your browser. At the bottom hit your menu button....the open square with the three lines in it. That will bring up 6 options, one of which is "downloads".

Your PDF should be in there.

Tom Mc says:
To delete: After you access download folder as explained above by yukonleft, tap the box next to the items you wish to delete. A check mark will appear in the box next to each selected item, and simultaneously, a trash can symbol will appear in the upper right corner of the screen. Tap the trash can, and the checked items will be deleted instantly.

I had the same issue and I think if found it. I went into my apps, quickoffice, Internal Storage, and then look for the Download folder, your files should be in there.

Open your web browser as youkonleft says, but now, click on the 3 lines next to the "new tab", then select "downloads".

I used to see "downloads" in the menu but it's gone now. I only have 4 options, not 6. Any suggestions? I now access the folder through office suite but that's a but cumbersome....

L Taylor - Are you talking about Silk? Tap the menu (three lines in the upper left corner). Downloads is in there.

CBRetriever says:
do you have the big Silk icon on your carousel?

if so, tap on it, and when it opens, select the upper left menu (3 bars) and you'll see Downloads as the third option.
