It's solid - already in the Verso tan cover, which is beautiful. The Fire steps you through set-up - time zone, setting up WiFi connection, downloading and updating to newest software. Then steps through a few visuals of where buttons are and how to navigate. It then opened up to a gorgeous screen of my pre-loaded stuff - books in the archive, my National Geographic subscription, etc. Last post for the moment - gotta try this out more!
