Now back to our regularly scheduled program :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Since it is hard for Indie authors to get the news out about their new books I thought I would try and help. I am sure if this is not appropriate the hall monitors will be along to down vote me. I am not scared. No that is not my knees knocking you hear, I think someone is at your door. Better go check it out right now. Are they gone? Okay good. Here are 4 of mine.
Noah K Mullette-Gillman has two new books. The Brontosaurus Pluto Society: Magic Makes You Strange and The Confessions of Zeuspater (The Brontosaurus Pluto Society) I think they were very good and have left reviews and it's getting awfully lonely being the only reviewer. Check them out and let me know if I suck at this reviewing stuff. The first one I read of Noah's was Luminous and Ominous and since I enjoyed that I read The White Hairs. I have left reviews for these also.
I also follow Jamie Wassermann he wrote Blood and Sunlight: A Maryland Vampire Story (and it is only 99cents through the month of August), which I hope some day he will continue. My fingers and toes are crossed in hope anyway and they are starting to cramp. Night of the Guppy - Book 1 of the Series: Sylvia Chesterton, Vampire Guppy Hunter, Night of the Guppy - Book 2 of the Series: Sylvia Chesterton, Vampire Guppy Hunterand book three in this series is free right now Blood and Hairballs - Book 3 Spinoff of the Series Night of the Guppy: Sylvia Chesterton, Vampire Guppy Hunter. The short stories are hilariously funny and a nice break between heavy or serious books. I have also left reviews for these books. Jamie is also close to releasing a new book named Holding Back the Day. I am anxiously awaiting its release.
Another author I follow is Edwin Stark he wrote Cuentos and Eco Station One both of which I really enjoyed and left reviews for. He also is getting ready to release a new book that is a continuation of one of the short stories he wrote, that I loved BTW, in Cuentos. I believe it will be called the Clayton Chronicles and I am very excited about this book.
Another great Indie author I adore is Christopher Bunn if you haven't read him you are missing a great adventure and epic battle between good and evil. The Hawk And His Boy (The Tormay Trilogy #1) The Shadow at the Gate (The Tormay Trilogy #2) and the just released The Wicked Day (The Tormay Trilogy #3) which I am reading right now. I have left reviews for the first two and plan on leaving one for the third when I am finished. These are excellent books and I highly recommend them.
Are there Indie authors you follow and anxiously await new books from? I have several more in my TBR list, but I am just one person and reading time is precious and short.
I really enjoyed it! I can't remember if I reviewed it or not. I am trying to do that more, but I am not sure I have any skill at it.
you reviewed it, im not very good at reviews but i try,
i dont analyze the plots or characters to me if i enjoyed it and it made me think, its a great book, if i enjoyed it but didnt have to think its a decent book but i prefer the books that make me think especially when i get those AHA moments
Anything by J.A. Konrath AKA Jack Kilborn and Blake Crouch is excellent. They also have several books they have written together.
Among their best are
SERIAL KILLERS UNCUT - The Complete Psycho Thriller (The Complete Epic)
Afraid
Trapped (A Novel of Terror)
Origin
DESERT PLACES: A Novel of Terror (Andrew Z. Thomas Thriller)
Another great read is PORTAL (Portal Chronicles) series. This one I was able to let my daughter read which is so much fun when you can share a book that way! Imogen Rose is truely connected with the likes/happenings of the youth and makes it fun to follow along.
How I Learned to Love the Walrus (an Arctic Romantic Comedy) and Romantically Challenged are great reads!
