If the ugly duckling had never had the courage to look into the pond and face what he truly was, he would never have discovered that he was actually a beautiful swan.

Hmm, (marking the spot...), in the event that our new poster blumoon has a financial interest in the Fillmore books?

eta- It was a bit unusual, for a new poster to post both threads at once. It's really odd, if you look at the reviews on the other fillmore books, there is 2 reviews by blumoon... but they don't (both) show on the profile here? IDK, do you want to know this sort of thing, when it happens?

eta- well it is not a unanimous vote, but it appears most would rather not know. Okie dokie. It's a link, afterall. thanks for your input!

The Last Book. A Thriller Michael Collins
It's 2015 and global anarchy threatens. In just twelve months, courtesy and tolerance have all but disappeared and tempers flare with fatal results. As irrational behaviour prevails, the streets, subways, and restaurants have become dangerous places. The White House wants to know what the hell is going on. Behind the scenes, Sarah, a respected ghost writer and single mother, is unwittingly lured by the mysterious Ethan Cross into writing the last book in a trilogy for a best-selling author. Cross's boss, Mark Payne, a ruthless and ambitious corporate giant, has a secret deadly plan to change the world as we know it-and he must be stopped. From New York to Washington, and to Sydney, Australia, the chase is on.

Blonde Demolition Chris Redding

No one, not even her fellow volunteer firefighters, knows about her past life as an agent for Homeland Security. Former partner and lover, Trey McCrane, comes back into Mallory's life. He believes they made a great team once, and that they can do so again. Besides, they don't have much choice. Paul Stanley, a twisted killer and their old nemesis, is back. Framed for a bombing and drawn together by necessity, Mallory and Trey go on the run and must learn to trust each other again¯if they hope to survive. But Mallory has been hiding another secret, one that could destroy their relationship. And time is running out.

Godchild (A Jack Marconi Thriller) Vincent Zandri
Prison-warden-turned-P.I. Jack "Keeper" Marconi understands the criminal mind. And he knows what it takes to break a man. His own life came apart the day a black Buick broadsided his car--and his wife died horrifically in the seat beside him. Years later, on the eve of his second marriage, Marconi catches a split-second glimpse of the driver who killed his wife. Suddenly hurtled back into the past, he is determined to take one last shot at hunting him down. That is, until he is offered a job he can't refuse: to bust a beautiful woman out of a hellish Mexican prison. Now Keeper's chase through Mexico follows a trail of bodies and lies back home: to the truth about a woman on the run, to a man sitting behind the wheel of a black Buick, and to a story that someone will kill to bury....
