you can export your kindle clippings into microsoft word, excel & PDF files. there is a website that does this for free, it's called

clippingsconverter.com

it exports your clippings into an organized and readable format - great for studying!

Elizabeth,
Be aware that all books* have a limit to how much can be clipped/highlighted. You don't know what the limit is until you have reached it and the highlights/underlines fail to show up in your My_Clippings.txt file. Someone said the underlines even disappeared when the book was closed and reopened.

* Well, public domain books from gutenberg.org have a limit of 100%... but textbooks and in-copyright books have a much smaller limit to keep you from copying the entire book. Erasing the highlights does not free up more to be clipped, to keep from serial copying.

I'm reporting his reviews, too - two of them (for two different books) are identical in wording and title, all three of them link to another book that's his, and all three were posted two days after the release of his book.

Don't worry - with abuse reports on 6 forum posts and three book reviews, I suspect it won't be too long before Amazon takes down his account :-)
