How about Ophelia? Don't know why, but that is what came to me when I saw her skin (which is beautiful by the way).

PF says:
I became obsessed with hostile nanobacons after reading Margaret Atwood's The Tent. So my K3 is Nanobacon.

There are some other charming nonsense words in the story if any of them float your boat:

I rather like "Dinkle." It's an anagram of Kindle.

Andie says:
Well I would love to help but I'm not very creative, as evidenced by my kindle's name, "Andie's kindle". Sad, isn't it? However I usually name my Sims after favorite book characters, especially Jane Austen characters.

Mine is also unamed. Yesterday someone said that "Kindle" always reminds them of the word "kinder" which means children in German and I was totally going to name my Kindle that but then I realized I'd want the singular and then I realized it was just TOO close to "Kindle" for my taste, so I'm back to square one.

Kirja (Finnish translation for "book")

I was planning to name my new K3 Marian (Marian the Librarian from The Music Man) but it turns out that it's a he not a she.

Aurora says:
@FoundQuilting: you could name him Marion instead! :-) Not sure I want to know...but how did you "discover" she was a HE? LOL

OhEmGee! says:
Hmm, lesseeee...
Nia -you got a neoprene sleeve.
Gem, Gemmie, Gemini -obvious reasons.
GinGin, Ginger -kinda continuing on that theme.
Pearl, Moonstone and Alexandrite are your birthstones, so a takeoff on those?

What do you like? Cats? A certain artist? Cartoons? Moose? :) Give an idea where to head.

@Aurora: LOL Just a feeling I get. My SUV is a he. My laptop is a she. Some of my golf clubs are female and some are male. I don't know why.

Lucy is what I named mine... because I love her.

I also considered Tinker

Waldo.. because when you misplace it you can say "Where's Waldo?"

Or Carmen San Diego - because when you displace it you can sing, "Where in the world is Carmen San Diego?"

Hitcho says:
Tisha you should call her Lady something. That cover is very elegant.

I was considering getting that skin as well! My Kindle's name is Wallie. It actually does have significance and meaning behind it :)

Maybe Apollo? I really like that name and I wanted to give it to my K3, but I decided that I couldn't part with the name "Wallie".

C. Parker says:
OMG, PF. Are you trying to make me crazy???? Now I'm going to spend another whole week yelling out "Nanobacons" at random. The people in line with me at the grocery store are considering having me committed. At least with my new Kindle, I don't go to the library anymore. I'm not sure how they would feel about my behavior.

C. Kittrell says:
Can't stop giggling over the vision of you yelling out "Nanobacons." If it's any consolation, I will be in the room next to you at the mental hospital because everyone is going to think I'm crazy for laughing to myself all day long.
