Do I agree that you did that? Sure, you'd be the one to know.

Do I think anyone else would be dumb enough to do it? Don't know and don't care.

So you burned a perfectly good tablet that you could have sold on e-bay in order to purchase one which is $139 more and has a lesser display?

Sounds like the typical Apple purchaser to me.

If I was going to get rid of a working electronic device to buy another one, I'd at least try to sell the first device to help pay for the 2nd.
So no, you are not right.

Really? You threw your Kindle in the fire? Should have been a really nice explosion. How is that you can still post? You should be at minimum, in the hospital in the burn unit.

As an iPad owner, I think that is just silly. Why not donate it to a soldier or a school?

Or are you just being a smart alec?

How does that relate to me? Why insult me, an iPad owner?

The iPad Mini can e-read, view movies, and play games, like the Fire HD...but is over-priced for that, since the FHD does that for less. The iPad Mini is mainly for production work...word processing, audio editing, video editing, etc, and also consumes on the side. It does more than the FHD, so it costs more than the FHD. I have a new iPad Mini-for production work-but still use my E-Ink Kindle to read on. I will NOT be throwing my Kindle away. If the Fire HD were capable of the sort of production work I need to do, I would have bought the FHD instead of the iPad Mini. At this time, however, the FHD is not capable fo the sort of production tasks I need a tablet for, so I bought the iPad Mini for my work. I still use my E-Ink Kindle for my recreational reading, and will continue doing so.

Why? Because it is easy to get your panties in a twist with a mere coin of phrase, that's why. *rolleyes*

Sarida says:
Ahhh..you are one of those children we would label a bully in the public school system. Something makes you think you have to be mean and bully others to make yourself feel good.

The "rolleyes" is a clear giveaway! That's something junior high kids do.
Not even high school bullies are that childish!

So bully away. I recognize that behavior even in the cyber world. Jealousy, poor interpersonal skills, or even just a lousy childhood can cause that behavior. I get it.

Have a nice day :)

I especially liked the "have a nice day" ending to your post.
