I forgot the password for parent protected Kindle fire. I can not get back to the orginial screen without the password. How do I reset it without resetting everything to the default screens? Kindle says that I will lose everything if I reset it. Is there another way?

Nope, what good is a password if you could get around it? You will just have to reload everything.

That is what a password is for, to keep people out. If there was a way to get around it what good would it be?

If you cannot remember it then you will have to reset it and reload everything.

You should write down your passwords for the various sites/devices/etc that you use and keep it in a secure location in case you need it.
