Can I install adobe flash player in my kindle fire HD?

I don't think so. I think Adobe stopped supporting Flash on Android devices.

Javier - Yes you can, but you also have to install a web browser (Dolphin HD) that will work with Flash. Here are the instructions:

To install Flash: (You have to have a Flash compatible browser in order to install Flash. You can't install it under Silk.)

Do the following on the Fire/Fire HD itself:

Swipe down from the top > More > Device > Allow Installation of Applications.

Install ES File Explorer: ES File Explorer

Download and install the Dolphin HD and Flash Player apk files from this link:

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/9d8gxh75f0747f1/83fV5m6x2c

Once both files are downloaded to your Fire, open ES File Explorer and look in the "Downloads" folder. You should see both files there. Install Dolphin HD *first* by tapping on the icon. Then Install Flash.

Sorry about that. It's apparently gone from Amazon. You can get it here:

I am not sure what to tell you. It worked fine for me. Perhaps try this version?

I used this information, and was successful...thank you so much! That has been my only disappointment with the fire is that I can't play any games that require adobe flash, and now thanks to you I have it.
Thank you again,
Beckie

Hi Beckie - Good to know! It's all android devices that no longer have Flash, so any tablet you purchased would have had a similar issue. I am glad that you have Flash up and running.

Laura, do you know if there's any way to get the ShowtimeAnytime app from the Google Play Store to download and work on my Kindle Fire HD? Thanks.
