Okay, I want a Kindle E-Ink Forum

I know Kindle made a forum for Fire users but they're not bright enough to find it, not bright enough to read the user's guide, or bright enough to read a days worth of posts which would answer 95% of their questions.

I want Amazon Kindle to create a "Kindle E-Ink E-Reader Forum".

But, as long as I'm here, can I read the Kindle Fire in bright sunlight on the Beach? When will the Kindle Fire be on sale in Zimbabwe? I bought a Fire while I was visiting the U.S. and now it won't work in Azherbazhani. I feel I was cheated. And, lastly, I really want my Fire to read books in the dark but as long as I have it, can I load games on it from my IPad?

You know there is an easy way to avoid being annoyed by stupid questions on the forums.

Don't come to the forums.

Had to double-check the date on this....I figured it was a zombie post from last year.

Ammy never set up a Fire forum. In fact, they redirected people here from that forum - which was originally started about actual fire. The kind with flames.

Oh my God! It's like a parallel universe!

Wow! On the first page you see posts from a year ago, not just the past 15 minutes.

No Flash questions. No app questions. No streaming questions. I...I don't know what to think.

And it's practically a virgin forum.

Please let's go bump them all. ybik.

Good idea. I will never buy a tablet PC so there isn't much point in coming here to see people whining about their Fire.

So, have fun. I'm off to read.

Those don't bother me. In fact, I don't even mind people starting a new thread on a question that was answered three days ago.

The ones that get me are the "I want to buy a new Fire for my 3-month old and was wondering if there are parental controls because I don't want them accidentally buying porn while I use it for a babysitter because I'm too lazy to supervise my own children."

OR the threads that start out, "AMAZON SUCKS!" Such a waste of time!

People were very kind and patient with me when I came here with my KK questions, and I hope to be the same.

Right? "Why isn't the Fire made out of titanium so that my trained pet monkey can play Angry Birds on it, and not break it?"

And "Why isn't it waterproofed? It should be waterproofed (and float) so Sweetums can watch movies in the pool."

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 30, 2012 5:27:42 AM PST
SWEETUMS! Hahahahah! I'm picturing the giant Muppet. All that hair...

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 30, 2012 5:35:12 AM PST
pfffft. Well, DUH! You just didn't train your monkey properly. Instead of blaming Amazon or expecting titanium (which is toxic to monkeys, I might add) and you didn't mention wanting monkey mom controls (I know that will be you next request, huh) I suggest you buy my new ebook "One Click Monkey: Perfecting Your Monkey's Behavior in the Digital Age". 25% off this week only!

How come when I turn my kindle fire off I don't see any pictures? How do I turn off ads? How come I can't use kindle fire like a supercomputer?

I want a 4" (YBIK) Fire LED to connect to my 7-foot TV that will give it all the properties of e-ink and doesn't require me to buy a separate charger or HDMI cable. And a new truck to make the whole thing truly mobile. And if it doesn't run iTunes, you've ruined another Christmas, Damazon!

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 30, 2012 6:44:52 AM PST
Nobody wants 4". If they pretend to, they're lying.

YBIK

Oh shut up. lol

How else would I hold a 7-foot TV in one hand with the other tied behind my back. You must have money to burn and your mom's basement is obviously bigger than my mom's. Oh the unffaaaaiirrness of it all. Thanks for nothin', Damazon!
