Not able to place an order for hours today....

Has anyone been able to buy/place an order today ?

I have a cart full of stuff but I can't place the order. I get as far as the page where you choose your shipping address but nothing happens. Page just goes blank.

I refresh same thing..I sign out then back in and the same thing. I even tried shutting down my anti virus (which i shouldn't do when buying stuff online) and still the same thing.

I rebooted also.

I can't get past choosing the address for shipping.

Anyone else having a problem today ?

Amazon got back to me and said it was "result of a combination of technical and human errors, and that in no way did we intend for this to happen"

I had 22 items in my cart and the prices on some have changed and some have been removed due to no longer being available so I'm a little peeved.

Amazon is a great company and I understand things happen but trying to get it resolved earlier in the day over
the phone with someone I couldn't even understand was frustrating so I just hung up and emailed them.

Well bottom line is the problem was on their end.
