Does amazon plan to support Adobe epub and DRM?

My local library offers ebooks in thes formats and previously purchased nook becasue it does support these formats

Overdrive (the library) now supports Kindle book formats. Amazon has no reason to support ePub.

Does Fire have SD memory expansion?

The browser supports flash, so as long as you use facebook from that and not from the facebook app the games should be playable. Whether they will be fun to play on the 7" screen remains to be seen though.

@Tom Cooper: No.

No, no memory expansion. Just a USB port.

Yes. Bezos confirmed that the Fire's browser will have flash in his speech.

I wonder if silk will make rendering flash a better experience than other Android Honeycomb tablets now on the market. That would certainly be a ding to iPad if they really got it right.

Wonder why other IPAD competitors including 'kindle fire' don't promote 'being able to play Flash' advantage over IPAD more aggressively. I own IPAD but I have to say, once big draw back is not being able to play flash videos.

regarding epub....I believe there is an app for that. But not sure it will work if the epub is DRMed. Amazon itself does not sell epub format. And I have never had a problem finding what I want to read through amazon.

free 3g connectivity would only work for the ebooks. and not even then being that the fire is all about color screen n video its more about the enhanced ebooks. ..seriously why do you all gripe over free 3g for this type of device. a. its an expensive high quality web browser, lcd reader, and video player, and has apps. n you want free 3g still it would never work ...the 3g would be so slow no videos would play on this.. the us mobile market can not handle large data streaming still n to offer that for free is ridiculous.
