Hi...My name's Folina...and I'm a KA, too.

Over 2 years, I've bought a KK, 2 BKs for my kids, a back-up KK when I realized if mine broke I'd be lost without it, a Fire to replace my dead laptop, then a PW as a "I survived surgery" gift to myself, and a Fire for my daughter's birthday. There may or may not be an 8.9 under the tree for me, with the old Fire going to the boy.

If loving Kindles is wrong, I don't wanna be right!

Rest easy, you're among friends here :-)

(Except for Fud, who isn't friends with anyone LOL)

Pulls in a little red wagon filled with
1- K2
3-Kindle Keyboards
2-Baby Kindles
2-PaperWhite Kindles

What I am not an addict! Really! ~sigh~ We are NOT counting apps, right? Good! I don't have a Fire of any sort; so I am not an addict! We also are not talking about the size of our archives, right?

Dang you flipoid! We are not supposed to be talking about Kindle apps.

Actually,Fud, reading stimulates the formation of more, new, brain cells. If one is an avid, electic, reader, one needs: one Kindle for General Fiction, One Kindle for General Non-Fiction, One Kindle for History/Biographies, One Kindle for Science Fact/Science Fiction, etc. It isn't ' an addiction '. It is ' Organization '.

OK, all of you Kindle addicts, the best way to break an addiction is cold turkey. Just send all the Kindles to me - I have no addiction to Kindles, so it won't be a problem for to have all of those Kindles.

Rest easy & just stick them in the mail to send to me.

*Really truly, not addicted to Kindles at all*

I think we need to form a group called K.A.A. - Kindle Addicts Annonymous!! Anyone?!? I am the only reader in my house of two, but I have a K.Keyboard,orig. K.Fire, waiting on 8.9 K.Fire(tomorrow!) and have the app on my PC,and phone! Also a charity dear to my heart is they provide kindles and books) to kids in Africa, very, very cool ;). Very happily addicted!!

I have a Kindle 2 but it does not work but can not throw it out. I have a Kindle Keyboard that works fine. I have a Kindle Fire 1st gen--works fine. I also have a Kindle Fire HD 8.9. I also have the Kindle app on the PC and on my iPod Touch.

I will join K.A.A. just because only a abscessed person would hold on to a Kindle 2 when it doesn't work anymore. I have the replacement battery on my wish list. I do plan on getting it.

I feel somewhat under-Kindled.

In our household of 2:

2 DXs
2 KKs
2 Kindle for iPad apps
2 Kindle for iPhone apps

Love Erin's idea of Kindles for organization.....

More back-up KKs! I love you people.

I thought was I was addict...obsessively hunting down a PW when I have an in-perfect-working-order KK that I love in addition to the Kindle apps for my iPhone and iPad. Clearly, I'm just at the gateway ;) I do absolutely adore my PW, but can't part with my KK (and its four beautiful M-Edge New Yorker and accessories are probably another addiction for another thread ;)) My dd has the first Kindle Fire.
