Again, what about it? You don't need to make multiple post for the same thing.

Did you read the reviews of the app? Many, many people have reported this issue.

Delete it.

Mike says:
Actually, it would make more sense for you to review this app, than post here. Such a review would be most useful; posting here, not so much.

Did you report the app to Amazon, on its product page?

This is just a customer forum; it's great that you'd want to warn others, but it won't do anything to fix the problem.

Report the app on its product page, and call Kindle (not regular) CS and tell them what happened. They may choose to pull the app.

(*scratches head*) I would think "Tablet" ~specifically meant~ Fires. No?

When I go to the product page it says my Kindle Fire is compatible... it is also an android app which would not work on the eink ereaders.

edited to make sense :o

Cassie Anne says:
That's what I think too. The Fire is a tablet. The e-ink Kindles are e-readers. JMO.

That would be my interpretation, as well. But I'm just a pleeb.

The product description says it's for the Fire. No mention of the e-ink Kindles. *shrug*

No.it.doesn't.

You can't run apps on any e-ink Kindle. Why would anyone design an app for those models when none of them can use it?

Yeah, from the reviews, I can see it probably doesn't work even though it SAYS it is compatible. :) I was replying about the confusion of Wild Reader 1's post.

Just Peachy says:
Eink Kindles are NOT tablets.
Fires are tablets.

At what point does "let the buyer beware" come into play here? 30% of the reviews for that app are 1-star. Users that don't give any credence to those reviews are subject to the trouble that 30% of the app's users have plainly posted about.

I was talking to Wild Reader, who said the app was designed for the e-ink models.

I haven't had a rouge app, but I thought there was a button to "report this app". Good luck! Sorry about your Fire. :0(
