I was on the internet. I kept receiving the message the "security of site cannot be verified" After one minute, it stopped responding and then went blank. Anyone with any idea on what I should do?

Just Peachy says:
Start by telling us which Kindle you have.

Dittie says:
First try rebooting. While not plugged in, hold the power switch for thirty seconds and then don't touch it until it reboots fully, which could take several minutes. If that doesn't happen, contact Kindle customer service by clicking the blue Help link near the center top of this page, then the giant yellow Contact Us button.

Pat, it is a Kindle 3G Paperwhite!

Then follow Dittie's advice.
You can't go to all websites using the 3G service on the Paperwhite - only Amazon and Wikipedia
