Trish, this forum is for regular people. None of us here works for or has any say in Amazon. We're just customers. Push "Help" at the top of this screen, then "Contact Us" on the right to get someone in Customer Service. They'll be able to help you there.

You do know this is not Amazon Customer Service, right? You can call, email, message with CS here:

here's the usual bunch of things to try:

1. Turn on wireless and do a sync and check for new items
2. next, look in your archives/cloud and see if it's there - if so click on it and it will download
3. go to your Manage Your Kindle page on http://amazon.com, hover over the actions button next to the title and select send to Kindle (make sure you pick the correct kindle if you have more than one registered to your account), then turn on your wireless and do a sync and check for new items
4. reboot/reset your kindle (fully charged, unplugged, wireless on, hold power button in for 30 seconds), then start at step 1
4.a. Deregister then reregister if you have an e-ink kindle then start at step 1 - DO NOT do this if you have a Kindle Fire
5. try to send it to your kindle through usb ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_k4land_trans_usb?nodeId=200728710#usb )
6. contact customer support using the orange Contact Us button to the right

You might try being a tad less snotty with Kindle Customer Service than you were with us.

Trish, did you order the books from the Amazon or from another source? You said the Kindle Customer Service people weren't helpful before - what did they say?

Go to Amazon, select manage my Kindle. You'll see a list of books you've bought. Find the book that hasn't been delivered and click on the tab to the right and select send to my device. Make sure in the square to the right that you've selected the correct device. There will be a drop down menu listing all the Kindles and Android devices with Kindle apps on them that can receive books. Once the proper device has been selected hit send to that device and your book will be delivered.
