Mary says:
Why does my Kindle Fire tell me that an error has occurred and try again later when I try to download movies or videos from my library, and tells me the page can't be loaded when I try to access the library or the store?

Mary, first... are you in the US?

2nd, if so, try rebooting your Kindle. You didn't say which Fire you have, but it involves holding your power button for 30 seconds. Then press again and allow the Fire a minute or two to restart. I don't know if this will help you, but doing a reboot cannot hurt your Kindle, and rebooting seems to "fix" a lot of problems.

Yes, I am in the US and I have tried rebooting. Really strange. I didn't use the Fire for about a month and it was working fine before.

Has there been an update since you used it last? Check what version you're running.

Aww sorry to hear that.

You could contact Customer Service:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/contact-us
Use the phone option... they call back very quickly.

Or perhaps, wait an hour or so and try again...perhaps it is a temporary server glitch. (Wouldn't surprise me with all the new Fire Christmas presents trying to access the video servers today)

Suddenly started to work, so I'm ok. Thanks for your help. There actually had been an update since I used it last--might have been the reason.
