Can you use a Kindle Fire to make a document?

Try Polaris Office (Pro or Free version). You can write documents and do rudimentary spreadsheets as well. I've tried several office-suite type apps and like Polaris the best.

Of course and you can also mow your lawn with a pair of scissors.

Thank you for the help. I was given money for a apple I pad mini - I have never had an I pad of any kind. I do have and loove my kindle key and use it for reading and games. But I want something more - not necessarily for movies and tv shows. I do want to get online (I can't see my phone) but I want to be able to do a list or a document sort of like a mini computer I guess. So I am totally unfamilar with the I pad and the Kindle Fire. I know the cost differences and from what I was reading the kindle fire has a better screen for movies which is not a big interest of mine...
