And your reason for complaining to other customers?

It sounds like you didn't understand the difference between commercials and special offers. All devices come with a certain amount of "unwanted programs" - laptops, desktops, netbooks, etc. Some you can take off and some you learn to ignore.

It'll be a hardship, to be sure, but just so you won't have gone through all of that for nothing, I guess I'll take that one off your hands.

So, what's your point? What do you want from us Amazon customers? It sounds to me like another boring whine that you can't keep to yourself.

We have 10 Kindles in the household. From Kindle 1s up to a Kindle 8.9. No problems. Very happy with the products. Cant, and won't, say that Amazon "dumped" anything on us.

Of course, I understand about how to remove ads and recommendations and educated myself on the use of each. Even my 90 yo Mom loves hers.

We're happy. Sorry that you're not.

Dump on you?

And here I thought purchasing something from a company was a voluntary transaction...

silly me.

Why on earth would you imagine anyone here on the Kindle forum gives a...fig about your childish little rant?

"We"? "Us"?

No - you're on your own with this one, Mr. McWhinypants.

Congrats! Payback will take a while but it's coming. :D

I really don't understand your problem(s). Do you not read the product page before you make a purchase?

Nobody dumped anything on you. You made a concious decision to buy the products in question. If you're not happy with them, either return them or move along and find something that better fits your needs.

Payback for what?

I was a perfect, angelic little child. For example, I would NEVER remove the three of the bottom cans in a pyramid display of canned peas on a grocery store display, making the entire pile collapse in a loud heap of crashing noises. No, no way... never.

I was also WAY too smart to ever get my head stuck between the bars of the iron guardrail on my grandparents staircase. I don't know what sort of idiot child would ever do something that...
