I have a Green Lighted Leather Cover for Kindle Keyboard that, were I not ethical, I'd sell you. You don't want a lighted cover. Mine killed two Kindle Keyboards. The first, Amazon replaced because it was only 3 months old; the second died a little short of a year after the receipt of the replacement and Amazon will not replace it. These are not available new anymore, or even used on the website, because they know that some of the covers cause some of the Kindles to freeze, sometimes permanently. Amazon admits that the unlighted covers cause this problem, but they will not admit that the lighted covers cause this problem, though they don't sell them anymore. That way they don't have to take responsibility for the damage done and replace the Kindle. If you read the reviews, you will find that I am not the only one to have a Kindle Keyboard freeze, and ultimately freeze permanently, using a lighted leather case. Think about it. The Kindle Lighted Leather Covers have metal hooks extending into the body of the Kindle. Not so kind to the electronics.

I also have the green lighted cover. I've had it on my KK since I bought it in July 2010; so far, so good. I love it. If it does die, I'll just get a Paperwhite. I have no interest in clipping on a light.

I've had two lighted covers on two different Kindles for the better part of two years and have never had a problem with either Kindle.
