I have a question for those in the know. Will the Fire recognize a thumb drive via the USB port?
In the regular eInk Kindle you can connect to a computer via USB and the computer will recognize the Kindle as an external drive so you can load things onto the Kindle via a computer. But I don't think the Kindle itself will recognize a thmb drive and let you download...software not set up to do that.
I wonder if the Kindle Fire will recognize an external device, thumb drive, etc that is plugged into the device.
