I'm new to this tech world especially Kindle. Does one have to pay extra to use the Fire email, and shop web sites?

That's insane that we have to pay $20 just to get exchange email on a tablet. Amazon should provide this functionality out of the box.

Oh, so Amazon should pay for you to check your email. Nice.

Exchange email comes free on every smartphone. There's no reason Amazon cannot provide it on the Fire.

Every smartphone carries some monthly charge just to turn it on, and without that you can not get your email on it. The Kindle does not have a monthly charge for so many functions!

My battery will not stay charged long?! I have talked to people who use it a week without charging. Also I can not get my email keyboard to come up to respond to emails (replys) any suggestions? is there an app I should be using?

I charge several times a day. Much better than my annoying Droid X that lasts about two hours.

Depends on what you use the fire 4. Is like anything else it depends on what you use it for. If you read a book it will last a long time .if you're on the internet wireless it probably onll last a few hours. It also depends like how bright your screen is, what games you might be looking at, website you might be browsing etc it all depends on what you're doing!!

I have my own domain name. So my email is "" I dont have a email server so I formward all ISP mail from "" to "" but in the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 it will show me and my email address as being "" and NOT "" Does anyone know how I can do this.

Its fine with the iPad, PC, Iphone etc and shows the domain rather than ISP address but I cannot seem to do this on the kindle.

I have a Kindle Fire HD. I love being able to read my emails on it; however, every night I have over 50 emails, that I've already read on my PC, that I have to click individually to delete from my inbox, then I have to individually delete them from my trash folder. There needs to be a box to click that will highlight all of them so they can all be deleted at once. As is, it's very time consuming. Anyone have a solution?

I know this has probably been asked before, but, I keep having a pop-up saying no client, I'm not new to this stuff just not as smart, I guess, as some of you. Any info would be great.
