I am thinking about going with HAL - for both the 2001 reference and because it is the first part of my last name, plus it sounds friendly. My new Kindle Fire arrives on Friday - I feel like I am expecting a child!

I think we are getting an Only Fools and Horses remake next year

<<QUOTE>>Classic TV sitcom Only Fools and Horses is to be remade for a US audience.

The ABC network is to make a pilot US version of the British show, which starred David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst and ran from 1981 to 2003.<<QUOTE>>

NOooooooooooooooooooooo!!

It will only be ruined if they do. Did you see the remake of Coupling they did a couple years ago? <Shudder>

Some things should just be left alone! Only Fools is/was so British, I can't believe it would translate. And besides, who could possibly play Del Boy or Rodney?

I had named the KindleBasic 'Rodney', but then realized that was my sister's FIL's name, so I changed it to Hathaway. Then when I got the KFire, Lewis was the only name I could choose ;)

(Are you watching Smash? Jack Davenport from Coupling is in it and Not pretending to be 'Amurican' I hate when British actors do that. Though I will admit there are some who can pull it off: Hugh Laurie, Damian Lewis, the guy from The Walking Dead, Alex O'Loughlin, etc)

My first Kindle was a K2 and my son named it Rosie K. Rosie K went to live with a friend when my KK showed up. Kk's name is Gracie because I'm always reading before bed. When I can no longer hold my eyes open... say goodnight Gracie. The Fire is just called the Family Fire.

My K2 is also "Kinderella" (because she keeps me up far past midnight).
My Nook (bought 4 renting library books, used 4x's in 2 years) I named "Lil Nookie"
My Fire (not used to read books) is simply named "Susi's Smolder"
My older parents share my acct
My Mom's K3 is GiGi's Sweetpea (she picked the name. She likes sweetpeas.)
The Fire we gave my parents I just named Gma & Gpa's Fire
Side note- my mom has asked me 3 times, "did you ever find out if they have a book on how to work the new Kindle?" Each time I just open it to the Fire "instruction book" ON the Fire. And smile (or try to).

My laptop is Goddess. My phone is Goddess on the Go. My Kindle Fire is Goddess, Too. I just received a Kindle Paperwhite for Mother's Day and am working on a fun name for it.
My daughter named her iphone Titanic, because she likes to see "Titanic is Syncing" in iTunes.
