T. Cook says:
There is no Camera on a kindle, therefore it can't be enabled or disabled.
And not all ipads have Cameras, the iPad 1 does not have a camera.

Cameras are hardware so if it's not there it's not there.

I know that my ipod touch has no camera and no 3G, but can I install a software update so I can print from it? I mean, it can be used as a printer, right? I don't need to actually BUY a real printer, do I? My ipod should suffice, right!?!?!?!?!?

I'm currently looking around to see if I can install an upgrade that will give my boat wings. I'll let you know if I see anything about non-existant printers.

In reply to an earlier post on May 29, 2012 2:10:04 PM PDT
Awesome. I appreciate that. In return, I shall let you know if I happen to stumble across any boat wings that can be downloaded.

The solution is duct tape, not software. And you'll need a camera.

Much obliged. Hey, while you're at it my alarm clock could use a toaster slot.

Frank Tuttle says:
There is actually a law mandating all tablet devices must contain fully functional cameras.

The Code of Hammurabi

Look under Part XIXX, beneath the line that says 'standing bird, crocodile, crocodile, jackal, sun, sun, jackal, sun.'

thanks for the responses. I wanted to use fire as my primary camera, so now i know i need to buy a real camera. @Phillip, which alarm clocks have toaster slot? any link please, i want to buy one. Does it also come with a timer inbuilt, and can start the toaster at say, 6am every morning?

Just on the off chance you are being serious, the Fire also cannot hook up to a camera, or take an SD card.

In reply to an earlier post on May 29, 2012 2:27:46 PM PDT
Phillip was joking.

Your question is kind of akin to asking how to download a toaster into the alarm clock sitting next to your bed. It's impossible, yes? Same as trying to download a camera into your Fire.

I'm sitting here, crossing my fingers that Chewbacca isn't serious, but I have a feeling he/she is. 8(

You know, he's the reason the Empire won the Clone Wars.

Judging by the tech level of his reviews, I would say Chewbaga is having fun with Camera on the Fire.

Sadly, he probably does not realize we have actually had this question before.

In reply to an earlier post on May 29, 2012 2:32:24 PM PDT
True. They will even ship most of them in plain brown wrappers.

In reply to an earlier post on May 29, 2012 2:32:57 PM PDT
Good to know.

Depressing to know that people really will post this same question in the future and be totally serious.

Tune up that Trolldar, you are late!

I don't think that was his Trolldar this time. It sounds like he's banging his head against something.
