Just FYI: alternately, you can browse on your computer and then search a specific title on the Kindle device in order to initiate the loan from the device.

Are you clicking on See All Categories from the Kindle Store? Lots of people seem to miss that step.

Maybe that's your problem, you aren't supposed to open the browser, just turn on the wireless and go to the kindle store, you will find the KOLL there.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 19, 2012 7:12:58 AM PST
I have done that on the computer and on my Kindle. I recently signed up for Amazon Prime so I should be able to access the the KOLL, right?

It's not called simply "Lending Library." It's call the "Kindle Owners Lending Library," because the borrower must be a Kindle owner and the loan must be initiated from the Kindle device. Said Kindle owner must also be a paid Prime subscriber.

Are you opening your browser and going to the Amazon store?

KOLL = Kindle Owners Lending Library

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 19, 2012 7:00:22 AM PST
I am unable to open the lending library on the Kindle because the lending library option does not show up in the menu.

What is KOLL? Pardon my ignorance lol.

You must borrow from KOLL from the Kindle itself. That's the only way.

EDIT - Here's a link that may help - https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_primeland_kindlelendinglibrary?nodeId=200757120

Help us out here. What does that mean, "unable to do so?"

How do I borrow a book from the Lending Library on my old Kindle - one of the first ones out? I am unable to do so from the Kindle itself.
