Thoughts on setting up new kindle fire hd for 3 grandkids ... keeping them on your prime account, but sparing them your own content?

K.a.a.group:-) Love the title. I wonder how many new members we will have after the new year? We may need to look for a bigger meeting place. Any suggestions?

So, any reason you are sharing this with us?

Don't let the door hit you. Meh, on second thought, go ahead.

Any thought other than this silly blind loyalty would have met with:

"Any reason you are sharing this with us?"
"Don't let the door hit you.."

For the members of the club(K.A.A). If you don't have this you will want it! It's called a Peeramid Bookrest(or Book Pillow). It's shaped like a pyramid of course and designed to hold any kindle while on your lap ( or chest,if your laying flat). You can buy it on Amazon or google it for pictures/ prices too. I bought one a while back and use it every day and now that I just got my newest KF 8.9, I like it even more! It works just fine with or without your cover on too! Just had too share. Isn't that what addicts do? Ha!!
P.S. K.A.A. = Kindle Addicts Annonymous!!!

Well the newest member arrived on my doorstep last night. I now have added a kindle fire hd 7 inch to the collection. I am loving it. Now I have my books and magazine subscriptions on one device. I plan on setting up an account for the grandkids for their apps. Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!

I don't have many Kindles, but consider myself an addict. :)

I have on my account:
Kindkle Devices:
Kindle Keyboard ---love love love it for reading.
Kindle Fire 1st Generation-- my first tablet ever. I really like all that it can do. Never watched so many videos in my life (Prime Instant Video and Netfix mostly) 'til I got my Fire.

Kindle Apps:
2 Kindle for PC (one is on my daughter's laptop)
1 Kindle Chrome Reader...rarely used.
1 Kindle for Android -- on my daughter's smartphone

I plan on getting the PaperWhite in a few months, and my next Fire will be the HD; in maybe 6 months. I want the 8.9", but I DO also like the 7" size as well --- I'll settle that dilemma when the time comes to buy it :)

Happy to see I'm not alone! Started with my first kindle touch last year and now have:
original Fire with zip sleeve
kindle Touch with lighted cover and zip sleeve
paperwhite with magnetic cover and zip sleeve for Fire so it fits over magnetic cover
Fire8.9wifi with 2 sleeves(different colors) and a larger case to fit over sleeve( butterfly and watch design)
Fire8.94G with a sleeve and then got the amazon basics net bag to fit over sleeve
As gifts one original Fire,2 2nd generation Fires and one paperwhite. Oh I forgot my one app. Also have a paperwhite on my wish list because I do need a backup right?

Just change one little "s" to a "g", and you have a really bad porn flick.

Okay, I'll bite.

How in the hell can a dentist complain about anything being too expensive?

Now look here--I'm opposed to the concept of Kindle Addicts Anonymous.

I mean, really! I went to an AA meeting and there wasn't an open bar, not even a cash bar. I went to Over-eaters Anonymous and they threw me out just because I ordered pizza delivered (although they kept the pizza, go figure.)

I suggest Kindle Enablers' Group, since we're all going to bring something to read on while we admire each others' covers.

BTW, the BINGO players have asked us to keep the racket down.

DX--lent to my brother;
2KKs--one is dead, but I keep it as a book sink
3 K2s given as gifts, no idea whether they are still in use
Orig Fire
8.9

I took the KK to the dentist's office today--the receptionist and assistant both have ones that need replacing (1 1/2 and 3 yrs old) and the dentist would only say she had 'a reader' but didn't specify brand...she also complained on a previous visit that books were too expensive; I suggested she read classics when she didn't like the prices.
