A please would be nice. Manners are important in daily life.

Download the app. Open the app. Play!

My friend who has a kindle cannot play words with friends at the present time with me who has an IPAD. THIS IS a new problem as she has been playing with me before this problem. I had to delete the APP as I had the screen freeze on me, can you tell me how I get back playing with her.,

Wrong. You absolutely CAN play Words with Friends. You just have to play through the app.

There is no e-ink screen that will let you play words with friends. They're not that technologically advanced.

I own a Kindle Fire and use it a lot for Words with Friends, but it really bothers my eyes. My interest is in finding an E-Ink type of screen rather than a back-lit one that will allow me to add a Words with Friends app. Any ideas?

Thank you for your response. We actually did achieve the link up with Words With Friends by playing on Facebook. I can play on my computer with my daughter and she in turn can play on her Kindle Fire and compete with my on my desktop computer. It was actually very simple. Once we both were on Facebook, we simply looked for each others screen we "found" each other and Words With Friends recognized us, we were linked and have been playing ever since!

Georgeanna, it's a bit difficult to get it on PC. You have to get something called Blue Stacks that lets you play Android Games on PC. Then you can play Words with Friends on your computer.

Can I play Words With Friends from my computer with my daughter on her Kindle Fire? If so, how do we go about getting the right app and then finding each other? Thank you in advance for any help you may offer.

I'm enjoying the game and are playing with about 8 people, however the kindle doesn't allow me to keep playing for a long time. I don't know if the problem is my kindle or if they want me to buy something. I recently got the kindle hd and am annoyed with this glich.

Just got a kindle and downloaded "words for friends" which I normally play on face book. I don't seem to be able

to place an existing game. Do you know how, or if that is possible.

Thank you

No need to get testy, the newer Kindles are designed to have limited tablet-like features, and I believe they are specifically designed that way for marketing purposes.

Do you realize you're answering a question that was asked May 2011 and was answered multiple times then?
Always look at the dates.

TO answer your question yes you can play words with friends on the kindle fire. and there is an alarm clock app. I used the alarm clock for a long until one day I forgot to turn up the volume on the kindle and I over slept. Since that time I have been using my phone. I love words with friends and I play it all the time.
