Well the world did not end and I had a very bad night at work. So now my payment for my credit card is going to go through and I will not have that money to buy stuff from Amazon. Life is just not fair.

My husband loves florida, used to dive there when he taught scuba and owned part of a dive shop. I resisted even going, the idea just never appealed to me. Last year he tricked me into going, literally tricked, and I fell in love. We have been back and stayed in Navarre, we have been to cape san blas (going again in late aug), this Jan we are running up to Panama city for a few days, and next year we heading to crystal river to swim (or in my case, float) with the manatees. I haven't fallen so passionately in love with a place since el paso.

At least you won't have much adjustment to go through.

I'm about to pop open my end of the world wine.

May neighbors respect you,
Trouble neglect you,
The angels protect you,
And heaven accept you.

Ooh. We could have detritus-throwing contests over the border.

It would be easier to chunk rocks at you, I'll give you that.

If you are lucky, you get to smell some trash too. (I love the macabre. I swear I'd move there if I could.)

You and Willow are really selling this place, aren't you.

To me the quarter smells like pee. Old stale pee. :)

I went there on my honeymoon. Despite the vomit smell, it might just be my favorite place in country (aside my home town, of course). It's a fabulous city.

I live in New Orleans, people are staggering around the quarter, falling in ditches, and smell bad all the time. I would never know if the zombies came.

Last night, we had about one hour of thunder, but no rain. I called my husband over from the other room just to tell them that I think I heard the apocalypse coming. He was not amused.

I thought the same thing when I got up this morning.
The school bus verified that they're still out there.

Are those of us that are still around zombies? I just looked in the mirror and decided it's true!

My Gawd!

There is no one around. I looked outside and all is still. No traffic. No people. Just the slow drip of melting snow from the roof. It is the Mayan Prophecy! It has happened. And you people made fun of it. That'll show ya.

Oh. Wait. I live in the middle of the woods (I really do). There is never people or traffic. Never mind.

This is not childish, but playful. And I don't think it's over. We have until 11:59P...

" ... if people keep going on about this childish situation it could cause someone to get hurt by a weirdo going off about this."

Yeah, like all the people who have been hurt or killed in religious wars over the millennium in the name of God.

I know, right? I did payroll, just in case. But I was avoiding filing. Dang. I guess I still have to do it, now.
