1. Yes.

2. It is free if you are using free WiFi (e.g. at your House, Starbucks, etc.). It costs money if you are using pay-per-use WiFi. On that note, I guess it costs money at home since I'm assuming you pay for your internet access. But there's no additional fee for connecting the Fire to the internet.

3. If you get the 4G Fire HD, the most expensive one, 4G is $50 for the first year, with a 250MB/month allowance (i.e., not much YouTubing/Netflixing.) You can still use regular short-range WiFi on the 4G models, though.

Just need BASIC info......can I access the web on Kindle Fire? What is the basic monthly fee?
